The 'Outfit Look-Alikes' Thread

Spanish designer David Delfin in 2013 vs Amiri (founded in 2014) actual logo

David Delfín copied as hell...remember that Margiela-esque show he made, with models with their faces covered? And that red-cross logo he used as logo, which was used by A.F. Vandevorst way before he used it.

Era un copión, las cosas como son!!

This is such a great find. It goes beyond two outfits looking alike, it can be and it might be the starting point. It gives an insight into the step by step. How did you find this painting ? Did you think it looked like that Prada skirt by looking at it ?
Hi, sorry I saw this just now but figure late is better than never. I've loved Delvaux since I was a teen and I've always had a spot for that Prada collection, but someone reposted the HQs and I saved them and realised I've seen that texture+color combo, exactly like that somewhere before. I searched and searched and voila, I found a pic of the painting in a 10 year old hard drive I still have. And I did some more searching and found Delvaux works residing side by side on his own wall at the Prada Fondazione some years back. Also she hired a severe Belge to be her right hand.. I did the math.

Thank you for your answer  Again, it's an amazing find, that collection is one of her best

This is a progression of three items, I'm sure I'm missing others that gave/took inspiration, and I'm not calling the second one a rip-off so much as suggesting that by the time you get to the third, the well of originality has already run dry.

First, Y Project fall 2019 (CAD $395) layered cotton-jersey T-shirt:

Second, Balmain 2024 Resort (€11,000) black wool grain de poudre applique-of-itself basque bustier dress:
