The 'Porter by Net-A-Porter' Thead

I'm not fond of prints, and I'd probably hate seeing most of those pieces on a cover, but that editorial just works. I wish it was in the magazine.

You're actually quite right! It actually looks like it belongs in Porter instead of The Edit. So in the current issue of Porter there's at least two edits which are made up of The Edit outtakes.

Karmen looks great, an the styling is accessible, but I'm still smitten by Claire! It's been said over and over again, but this weekly magazine's features are miles ahead of the likes of American Harper's or Elle.

Thanks so much for the uploads, Nymphaea.

Karmen looks BEAUTIFUL! That editorial is great too, I really wish I could have a physical copy of it in my hands.

I keep forgetting how beautiful Tina Fey is, so covers such as this one often comes as a surprise to me. Very festive too.

That's the best I've ever seen Tina look, such a beautiful edit.

Was there no issue for the week of Christmas?

I'm so excited to see what this and porter come up with in 2016. They've been so consistent and wonderful all year around.

I hope they will put more models on the cover in 2016!

Fair enough, and I love Julia, but I feel she doesn't have enough presence for the cover.

Miranda just isn't a fashion model. Everything looks awkward here. The styling doesn't need all that corny dramatic poses she's giving.

Although you'd have to admit, that's the most amount of posing she's done in her career as a model.

Perfection!!! Proof that this woman needs more fashion covers, stat! I'm obsessed with that second shot. Looks incredibly sexy, and her body looks so toned!.

I see The Edit tried a new re-design. It looks neater, but the font situation could be better.

Go Gillian! She´s one of the most beautiful women in HW
With X-Files premiering soon, you´d think she´d get at least one mainstream cover! but I´m happy with this one :)

Gillian. The gorgeous wonderful Gillian. She is absolutely killing it in every single shot and a better model than a lot of those 'models' out there.

After all the disastrous Vogue covers and even more awkward Elle covers of the world, The Edit and Porter are like the lighthouse that finally greets you with assured confidence and ease in a sea of try-hards and mediocrity.

Gillian is more beautiful as she matures, and the Edit team is smart and talented enough o capture that mature beauty rather than retouch her into a wax doll. I would have prefer any of the shots in the ivory or black outfits for the cover, but I guess the red pops more, even if she does look rather sad in the shot they've gone with.

With age, she brings the incomparable combination of beauty and character.
