The Row F/W 2015.16 New York

Luxury at its finest. I want so many of those sweaters, i can almost feel them on my skin. And the coats? Sublime, the whole collection is so cohesive, and well done.

Some gorgeous pieces. Some not so gorgeous pieces. I really love this luxury wear of theirs. They nail it.

^ I wouldn't go that far, the styling alone is innovative.

But I agree that this is being severely over-celebrated by journalists.

You'd have to have one hell of a statuesque frame to pull this off, otherwise you'd be dragging it through the streets, which is far from chic. [Who knows, maybe that's their goal, to make everyone suffer the plight they face in finding clothing that fits their very petite frames... but, no thanks].

As ILoveDiorHomme pointed out, brands like Hermés have been doing this sort of elegance far longer and far better/more practically.

It's beautiful, but it's also very 'so what?'.

That's one thing that I don't understand about this collection or this line in general. As a rather short, petite woman, it's sometimes hard to find luxury clothes that fit properly but look cool and comfortable. I am always disappointing that their clothes require a tall frame... it's not like they have to design clothes that would work on all heights, but as petite girls, I thought they would know the struggle! Oh well.

I love it, it also feels true to what the twins would wear in real life, so it is a luxurious and honest collection.

the Olsen twins should send their CV to Hermès instead of copying hard their archives...

haha, I was thinking how come they didn't hire them two at hermes instead of their ex designer. It is almost like saying, look we can do hermes better!

Pretty much sums up all my thoughts about this.

I love it. It is Celine in feel

But Celine has an earthiness, realism, which The Row tends to lack.

The fact that Bergdorfs is dedicating most of their newly refurbished 6th floor to this brand is scary...

it is beautiful and luxurious looking, particularly the knits, but i agree with heatheranne that from a practical level many of the outerwear pieces would be hard to wear around all day. i think hermes do a better job with proportions. also, i think their spring collection was better: more colour and variety.

They're not designing to solve a problem. They're designer to propose a lifestyle, which most fashion designers do.

It's a beautiful and luxurious collection, but it's no a stellar one. Also, I do agree that some pieces of the collection are meant for the tall ones unless you have it custom made for your height

Don't like a couple of outfits that make the models look like Nazgûls but overall I really like the collection. Simple but sophisticated.

i just have to say...
sheer stockings with mules...
NO!

:judge:...
