I bought this angora coat and this cardigan from Kate Moss for Topshop earlier today, pictures from Topshop:

^I knew we'd be seeing you buy stuff from this collection sooner or later :D I'm eyeing on a few pieces myself, sadly the black fringe jacket is already out of stock...

Is that good that you already knew? :p
Which pieces besides the fringe jacket did you consider? I had two dresses in my basket too, but I had to control myself :D

It means that I know your style

I like the rose feather gilet, even though I don't know how much wear I'd get out of it, and two shirts (navy with ruffles on the sleeves & pale pink with puffy sleeves)...

I hate Topshop! Everything sells out within minutes. I also wanted that fur jacket. They still had all the sizes in this in the early afternoon but everything sold out by now. Lucky you, that you got to buy everything you wanted, Ditte!

Thanks Verena, there are still some stuff that I would love to get, but I guess there always is something outthere that I want :D So I had to control it... Didn't you get anything?

Jil Sander handmade washed anthracite leather lace ups. The BlackBerry pic doesn't show how great the leather is, I will take better pics when I am home.

ugg - I like your sneakers - very cool - I'm such a Nike fiend (I jog)

kimair - I almost bought that same Proenza sequin top but chose a Vanessa Bruno version instead :) Congrats on your dress from The Row btw - I really want to stock up some basics from them for fall...

A Rory Beca top & Sir Alistair Rai Scarf. I will not be wearing it with all purple like they styled the model!

bluefly.com, siralistairrai.com

Not as exciting as some other people's purchases but exciting to me since I haven't bought clothes in forever and needed to stock up so from Gap I got a new pair of straight leg (but erring on the side of skinny) dark denim jeans (love these actually), a slightly too large plum maroon cable knit cardigan, and a pair of grey tights and a pair of purple tights and I also just won this floral pintuck vest ebay which I think will be quite sweet this f/w...

I haven't posted on this thread until today, but I am a secret shopaholic indeed. Anyways, there is a first for everything.

Not sure if this is bending the rules of the board or not, but today I am posting things I bought in the past months that ended up being returned. The photos below are taken with my Blackberry, and I apologize for the mediocre quality. I will take pictures of things that I actually decided to keep once I get a new digicam, hopefully before the end of the month.

Lanvin pearl and satin necklace
I really do love the design of this necklace and its many variations, but after snatching this up on sale, I decided the pearls are too much for my frame. I wish I wore a bubble skirt instead of a fitted LBD (from Zara) for the picture though.

Alexander Wang LBD with Illusion Straps
As far as upcoming mid-priced American designers go, I do like Alexander Wang much more than the rest (i.e. Phillip Lim). His AW08 show was spectacular, though SS09 was a 'sophomore' slump. I envisioned this dress to be quite effortless and chic, the perfect thing to wear to a gallery in the evening. And in my head I also paired it with Fendi's bird cage heels. Alas, had to return it because it is too loose on me.

Castle Starr LBD with beaded gold neckline
For those of you who are not familiar with the Castle Starr brand, it is a mid-priced line that focuses on evening wear (dresses and fancy tops) and is sold on Shopbop.com, RevolveClothing.com and the like. I like a lot of their things in picture, but the actual garment is a light disappointment for the price tag. This dress is also a babydoll... I cinched it in the back to give it a waistline.

Barbara Bui two-tone heels
Being a monochromist, I love the idea of nude against black, but the actual shoe doesn't look as good as it did in the picture. The heel is very elegant (and an inch too high!) but an absolutely nightmare to walk in.

Claudia Ciuti gold strappy sandal
I am on a lifelong quest to find the perfect strappy sandal in every color, and was excited to get these on sale. Anything with only an ankle strap and a crisscross at the front was deemed too bare for my feet, and these looked more interesting with the braid in the middle. But it's hard to buy gold-toned leather on the cheap and I ended up not liking how faint the color looked. Hard to imagine they originally retailed for over $300.

Marc by Marc Jacobs necklace
Not bad for $98. Didn't like the length though.

Love Quote scarves
I like them, but think at $85 a pop it's too much. Also, even though cashmere is very functional, the color doesn't look as vibrant as it does on silk or satin. I don't think it's the best textile for such a wide range of color selection.

I didn't keep either because I like what I already have better.
From top to bottom:
Love Quotes "Bali" (returned)
Love Quotes "Marina" (returned)
Zara (what I already have. great finish b/c it's sateen and only cost $29. have it in multiple colors and wear them all the time so the cost-per-wear must be pennies now)
Banana Republic (what I already have)
See, I don't need that many blue scarves B)
