here is a pic of a jkt i got awhile back before my trip...
it's TRICOT by comme des garcons...from the IF basement sale...
* i never went to their sale before but i got a couple of things that are quite nice and had not seen for sale anywhere else ...

the body of the jacket is off white muslin and the cuffs and pockets are natural linen with silver metallic stitching...
it's sort of a cross between an artist's smock and a steam punk lab coat i think...

^ I think that coat is a great lighthearted playful piece...it will balloon out when you walk which is going to make it a double-look coat. at first I was thinking about putting one of those elastic dress snatchers (not really sure what they are called) on the back but that might decrease the movement too much. If I went into a physicians office and they had on a lab coat like that, I might ask them to marry me on the spot...(assuming I wasnt)
