I decided to try again for the perfect leather jacket and ended up getting this men's one from ebay. I hope the waist and hips are slim enough, anyone know anything about having leather tailored?

That's a cool jacket! It looks pretty unisex to me. I have never had any leather clothes altered but I'm curious if it's possible. I just got the Unique leather leggins and they are a little too long.

Thanks Velony! So cool that you got the leather leggings, I reallly want those but I don't know if I can justify shelling out the cash. They look long in pics but I don't see why they couldn't be hemmed. If I find anything out about altering leather clothes I'll let you know.

anyone know anything about having leather tailored?

there are a few places in my area that tailor leather. and i've even seen a couple places online where you can send your leather clothing, they'll alter it, then send it back to you.

i've never had mine sent out, though, because i've been sewing practically my whole life and do all my tailoring myself. but just to give you a heads up, i would venture to guess it'll be expensive. sewing leather is quite difficult and you have to be very careful while doing it.

I've had leather gloves altered a little by my regular seamstress so I think it's possible.
