I bought a pair of ankle boots by Hope, called Grace, that I've wanted for some time.
I managed to find them at 50% off so they were a good price too!
Hope does these boots every season, and I think they will become a staple in my closet.
They go with everything.. most of all I'm glad to retire my Converse trainers

I also bought a red Moleskine planner for 2009.. It will look good in my black bag!

hah how funny this is also my b-day dress (jan 4th). i picked it up on a whim after seeing it marked down 30% off at otte, was still a little expensive so i contemplated long enough that the SA offered 50% off and i knew me and the dress were destiny, lol. i already gave it a test run on xmas eve, got so many compliments from the family.

i'd go with the first pair of shoes, i don't think the purple suede would mix well w/ the flashiness of the dress.
