I've been busily shopping for spring ... the best thing about the bag is, there is absolutely no logo of any kind on the outside. OK, maybe not the best thing, but a really good thing It also has a leather bottom & feet that you can't see but will really extend its life ...

I've been too busy at work lately (basically trying to stay employed in this recession! ) to do much shopping, but I was finally able to catch up thanks to the holiday today. I was taken aback by the lack of crowds and availability of sale merchandise, but I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised given the state of the economy these days...

- Chanel moto boots 75% off from Barneys
- Lanvin black patent leather flats 50% off from Barneys (I was surprised to see these on sale, until I realized they were from '07; the only difference between the ones I bought and the current season ones are the newer ones have more padding)
- Les Chiffoniers PVC pants 50% off from Intermix
- Ann Demeulemeester pants, $24.50!!! from a thrift shop
- I also bought these awesome heather gray cashmere TSE pants for $10 at another thrift shop, but I couldn't find them underneath the heap of clothes in my room

I'm sure all of these items will work their way into the "what are you wearing today" thread soon... (and sorry for the crude ladder setting, I've been cleaning out my closet!)

wow great purchases on this page! the jumpsuit is super cute and laid back, exactly how a jumpsuit should be. Love all the finds from Barneys and Intermix and the Kirkwoods are a total steal. I love how they look like a classic pump and then you look at the heel and you see all sort of interesting detail. And the tatty devine! love their stuff!

Elizabeth & James, "Ivy" buffalo plaid blazer:
Can't believe this AW08 blazer is still full-price, but at this point I should feel lucky that I am able to find one in my size at all. Actually, this is not my real size... E&J runs very small (true to their creators!) so I went up 2 sizes and the chest area is now very loose-fitting. But I think I can get by with it since I don't intend on wearing it as part of my business attire. Plus, the back is still pretty fitted! Vanessa Hudgens wore this last year, so I wonder why I caught the bug so late? But this is sure to become one of my favorite blazers. The plaid is very understated!
