actually out of all the shoes those look the most comfortable. Those and the dell acqua platforms since there is almost no slope of the foot. The balenciaga even though they look the smallest in terms of heel height look the most uncomfortable since (to me) the heel looks like 5 inches and there is NO platform....

Who makes these shoes? In ancient France (I'm 60% sure it's France, but I could be confusing my countries) women wore shoes similar to those to avoid all the filth on the street. I wonder if that is what inspired these shoes^_^

they're alexander mcqueen rtw ss08

they remind me of pagodas... but its probably cause of the kimono inspired dresses that were in the collection...

Do you mean the chopine? I read about those awhile ago and thought the same when I first saw the Alexander McQueen shoes. They were popular among Italian women mainly, but I'm sure most cultures back then had some form of the shoe.
