they're becoming a bit mainstream lately. i heard their 'that's not my name' track on an uber-mainstream alt radio station here yesterday whilst sitting in my salon.

i think one of their songs may be on a movie soundtrack
'he's just not that into you'...which comes out this friday..
they are using the song on the commercial which is on heavy rotation on all the networks lately...

so- yeah- i'd say they are about to go majorly mainstream...
i think the new year's performance really helped with that as well...
it's a HUGE audience for them...
i think a LOT of people who never heard of them before that are now starting to get into them...


i mean...they are really catchy and she's really cute...
it was bound to happen...

definitely agree that they are using their songs a lot in telly adverts/promos lately. at least it's decent pop and that makes a nice change

When I went to Hong Kong in October every time I went shopping I'd hear their songs playing there! I was so excited to download their albums when I got home, but surprisingly I was hearing their music here in the states too. Nonetheless they're one of the few recent artists that I've actually tried to get a hold of all their songs.

i don't think they're very big here in america. they got a little bit big with shut up and let me go being in the ipod commercials, but other than that...not really. I'm kind of obsessed with their song 'traffic light'. I listen to it over and over.

I can see why people don't like them but I think they're great. Careless, catchy, infectious pop basically, but I love pretty much all their album. I listened to their performance at Glastonbury, I think that's what got me hooked, it was such a great performance.

I love Katie White's grungy-but-at-the-same-time-girly style, always so colourful, and I think she is quite pretty too. She always looks great in her trademark leggins.

When I saw them perform on T101, Katie wore an adorable little jumper that bunched up at the thighs. Katie always sports a cute dress or skirt with leggings underneath. I love how she tops it off with a cute hat sometimes!

Ooooh oooh ooh, I nearly started a thread for Katie. I like her style actually, my OH is obsesed with her. I like her hair sometimes too. I think she is cool in that she has her trademark style that suits her, it doesn't look fake or like she's trying too hard.
