^ noo i was born with (nearly) black eyes and now they're dark brown.. only the people with blue-gray-green-(and sometimes)hazel eyes are born with blue eyes and then it changes (and this even doesnt always happen)

Yeah, mine were dark brown and now they're light brown/hazel

I'm studying genetics in school now. Eye color is determined by three gene pairs. Quite confusing. Babies are usually born with blue eyes, even if their parents/family all have brown eyes, because they don't start producing melanin (a brown pigment also responsible for tans) until a bit later. Hope that helps.
