Nicole Richie and Joel Madden recently purchased a condo at the Bowery in NYC for $999,999. According to the Real Estalker, the condo is a 1,000 square foot, 11th floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom haven in the heart of Nolita.
The condo “is very simple, nothing high-design,” Shelley O’Keefe, the building’s agent, told PageSix.com.

most studios aka one room are about 375 to 700k for something "nice"

Nicole Richie went shopping yesterday for party – Joel is turning 29. Note the pretty “H” necklace she’s wearing… love the name Harlow. Also like Winter. And love love love her angel wing headscarf.

Did you know that pictures of Nicole fetch more than Ebola? Word is Paris was initially not pleased when she learned of this but then decided to use the disparity to her advantage in a photo opp of her own. Nicole supposedly goes along, resigned to the fact that it's actually less dramatic to maintain the status quo intead of engaging that disease in a full scale separation that she'll turn around and make public.

Still...it's little Nicole's biggest blemish. Somehow she needs to find a way to cut that skank off.

PS. Never one to miss out herself on an occasion to send a message - it's no secret who Nicole's voting for, non?

Because now her fame is practically fleeting, she has tried so many stunts since jail to regain some of that back. She used to have the attention Britney did but now...not so much. It's probably freaking her out since Nicole and Britney barely do anything and they are more valuable, whereas she is trying everything and her business depends on the attention daily...
 
I think Nicole is interesting, so she will be able to do something. She seems too lighthearted to become a wreck like britney ever was.
