TMZ is reporting that Nicole Richie is spending quite a lot of time with professional skateboarder Chad Muska -- who used to date Paris Hilton back in 2004 ... here is a picture of Nicole and Chad walking suspiciously close to one another earlier this week:

Estranged best friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie still have one thing in common -- the same taste in men. Richie was seen Wednesday shopping in Hollywood with one of Paris' exes, professional skateboarder Chad Muska. Could the smiling Nicole and Chad really just be friends? Hmmm ... Lindsay is spending time with Stavros and now Nicole is spending time with Chad. Well, I suppose it's not too shocking ... you can't even say that L. I am pretty sure that this doesn't mean much, but here is Perez Hilton's story:

These two just keep us guessing!
After breaking off their engagement late last year, Nicole Richie and DJ A.M. reunited again this year, only to break up a second time over a month ago.
Now, the former lovebirds are "spending time together" again, and only the two of them know what that means.
Nicole and Adam were spotted Tuesday afternoon looking cozy in Beverly Hills.

I love them together, but it's no longer a huge shocker if they broke it off/got together again etc. If 2 people are engaged to each other then they had a strong connection once, and so maybe they were able to salvage at least a friendship. Big deal they were pictured together..it doesn't mean they're back together, or still broken up. It means what it means: that they were seen together! like omg.
