What do you guys think of thermal spa water. I tried some by vichy on my face at it was great! IT MADE MY SKIN SOFT LIKE A BABIES BUTT.... VICHY AVEENE AND LA ROCHEY SOMETHING HAS IT...or yah and evian but evian isn't that great...

do you think it's great for your face and offers benefits. Also which thermal spa water is this best?

Vichy Thermal Spa Water, or Lucas Water, has been recognized for its therapeutic properties by the medical community since the 17th century. All Vichy products are made using Vichy Thermal Spa Water. Vichy waters contain 17 mineral salts and 13 trace minerals, and have properties that soothe and strengthen skin's natural protective layer and prevent irritations due to environmental aggressions. Minerals and trace minerals play a fundamental role in the smooth enzymatic functioning of the skin by maintaining skin balance and strengthening the skin's protective mechanisms. The skin is thus refreshed and soothed and becomes softer, more flexible and more resistant to environmental aggressions.

it's okay . . but all it does is moisturise your skin. it does help your make-up last longer though. :flower: personally i'm not really that impressed i only use it when i'm flying as it does help keep my skin feeling hydrated & soft.

i'm going to try making my own cheap rosewater spray . . :innocent:

i always got a bottle in my bag in summer.
also my dermatologist recommended me to use the AVENE one

I've used products made with Vichy water - I believe it is called purete thermale or something to that effect- blue tube- it cleans very deep into the pores or so it seems. My face is almost 'squeaky clean' afterwards but it looks and feels very refreshed.

I am thinking of trying other products - perhaps a mask- when in europe (not sold in US  ) ... Are you guys just using the water sprays???

You tell them tea..
Deep Riverrock - It's water you wear :innocent:

water sprays complete dries out my skin. especially in the winter when its cold and the air is even more dry.

The lady at Saks told me that its just pure Evian in a spray bottle. Save $16 and go buy the large Evian water at a gas store for $2 and put it in a mist spray bottle.

it wakes me up...but i suppose i'd wake up if i ws sprayed with any liquid anyway

my friend had the spray, and I thought it was so fun I bought it for myself at Sephora.
i dont know if it actually makes a difference in my skin, but i love how refreshing it is, especially when flying.

That stuff has been around forever and I love it. It clears your skin and shrinks your pores (abit) on hot days.

BUT, FYI your skin is a phospholipid bi-layer meaning it is water-resistant, so anyone who tells you water moisturizes and sinks into your skin is full of the brown stuff.
