Thinking about a V Magazine Subscription! Advice would be apprciated!

I am thinking of getting a subscription to V Magazine and would love to hear feedback from any of you that already subscribe to them. I live in Canada and haven't been able to find am issue to flip through, but I like what I see from previews here at TFS and the website!

So my questions are:

Is it worth the $11 per issue? ( The subscriber's rate for Canada is about $69 for 6 issues ...$11 isn't so much, but I want to make sure it's not on something that I could get at the convinience store. ie. Vogue or Bazzar)

Have any of you had problems getting your subscription?

What is your overall opinion of the magazine?

I think it is definitely worth the $11 per issue. I've never had a problem with my subscription. The magazine is printed on a heavier weight stock than most mags and the larger format is lovely for the photography. I'd say go for it......

I recently subscribed to it from the US ($40 USD/year), and I'm fairly certain that it will be worthwhile Enjoy!

I'm thinking about subscribing to it also! But sometimes by post office bends or scratches my W magazines because they are so large, and/or hard to fit in my mailbox, and I really don't want my V magazines to be messed up when I get them.

It's a bit taller, I think.

I love V, I buy it almost every month! The only place in Canada I could find it was Chapters.

never thought of subscription of V. it's too expensive for a little student like me in France!
V is much more bigger than W. (weird as it's a double "v")

I love V. I'm waiting on the Courtney Love feature that she shot on her birthday, which was in July. Can someone tell me what the months are that it comes out? I keep checking back at stores to see if the cover isnt Penelope Cruz, although I am on their e-mail mailing list to let me know when their new issue is out.

After alot of thinking, I have decided to subscribe! Why not? I spend $70 on the most random things anyway, so why not use it to get a cool magazine I love looking at the previews on the site and things posted here, so I think it's a good decision

I'll be placing my order later this week...or maybe next week

I'm wondering about how it's mailed as well. I have trouble getting my W magazines to me in good condition and V is slightly larger.

But I know I'd save 20$ and several tanks of gas.
