Thom Browne F/W 2019.20 Paris

 this is fantastic: cheeky, fun, and beautifully tailored.
i love the "doggy bags" :crush:

(pssst...does anyone else think he'd be great at chanel?)

One of my favorite collections of the season so far. Love the change of direction to more pared-down, wearable clothes. Every outfit is immaculately crafted and he imbued the clothes with a little more discipline and restraint.

Beautiful, simple collection...
This is maybe his most accessible, pragmatic collection. It’s more subtle and even the shoulders are rounder and the silhouettes are less unforgiving. He has gave some shape to his woman.

Some lengths are a bit unforgiving in a « old woman side » tho.

He’ll be boring after 2 seasons. He is very « limited » in terms of aesthetic and while seeing him experiment with the codes and the ressources of Chanel would be amazing for 1 season...More? Non.
But that’s the case for a lot of talented designers.

Due to his love of "trompe-l´oeil" and surrealism I think he is more suitable for Schiaparelli.
