very gorgeous with the coloured jewels
goes very well together

what do you mean by wire jewellery?
are you making it yourself?
i'm assuming the wire isn't part of the ring

i was thinking actually you might have meant wire as the main design element
like here

I've always adored wire jewelry. I think it can look very elegant.

post some samples of what you like, you guys :)

This is your website right Stacy? (The contact on the website is [email protected] so I'm assuming). It's beautiful and the photography is great. How you get the wires to stay put? I look at those style of rings and worry about loose ends catching on something.

It reminds me of some of Rachel Leigh's early designs.

I have seen some really cool rings w. the wire actually wrapped around the jewel.

Etsy has some great ones as well at great prices. I like these because the band is nice and thick. When you're wearing a ring that has a large stone, a thicker band makes it feel more stable on your finger.

Must be difficult to twist the wire into those perfect shapes
I've done it before with tweezers and pliers --it makes dents and sharp edges it's no good!
But here,
it's smooth.. so fluid

This is a great thread...I've always loved wire jewelry, especially with rough, unpolished stones. I have a wire ring that my mom gave me...I'll post a picture once I find my cable for my camera.

yes i guess my plan for anonymity fell through, those rings I posted are my designs. Thanks for all of the great feedback. As a designer, I love to get honest opinions from real fashion guys and gals like yourselves. so thanks!

and i love the rings you all have posted. wire jewelry seems to be an art that never quite gets into the mainstream. perhaps that will change soon!

I'm learning to make wire jewelry too but it's not as easy as i initially thougt ( i have some basic jewelry making background ) The wire are not that easy to handle. A little bit rough treatment and your tool might 'hurt' the wire and left some scratch or sharp angle.

^I was wondering if maybe wire needs to be heated up first, to become pliable

stacy your work is beautiful!. hope you dont mind if i post some...they are lovely.
