Hah I think a few of them are gorgeous. I wouldn't really want to wear one myself though, I'd feel kind of silly.
But you can wear one anytime you want, hah you don't need an excuse! Who cares what people say, LOL.

I think really small tiaras like Audrey wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's one could get away with say going to the opera or a gala. It almost looks like a hair comb. Also, the starburst pin the Jackie O wore as a tiara at times added a touch of elegance to her gala outfits.

I love those from Chaumet... they are so retro... especially the one with a white feather. C'est tres chic!
