When I first came across Tilda Lindstam's thread on TFS, what initially caught my eye was her last name— and coincidentally, wedged between Stam and Linda-something on the "New Posts" section, it's easy to see why her last name might provoke a double-take.

But there's more to this stunning Swede than her last name. Signed with Stockholmsgruppen, IMG, Mega, among others, she debuted in New York Fashion Week during F/W 2010/2011 and is getting set for another round of runway this coming September. Keep an eye out for her!

1. What is your favorite word?

My favorite world is probably "ocean". I decided that after hearing John Butler playing a song with the same name on a 12 stringed guitar. Man oh man.

2. What is your least favorite word?

Cottage. Im really bad at pronouncing it.

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

I love (and hate) creative people. Artists and musicians are probably the people I love and envy the most.


4. What turns you off?

Arrogance.

5. What is your favorite curse word?

Bloody hell. I dont think I've ever used that curse my self, but I love when all the british people do it!

6. What sound or noise do you love?

I love the sound of the violin, the East Village street noise by night, and the way my dads laughter cracks sometimes when he is laughing too intense about one of his own jokes.

7. What sound or noise do you hate?

I'll have to think about this one, I really can't come up with any kind of sound that really bothers me.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Being an artist. I'd never be able to though, I do not have the patience nor the talent to even try to attempt it, haha. Maybe a psychologist. But on the other hand I am the worst at giving advice.

9. What profession would you not like to do?

Being stuck in an office.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

"Welcome! There is a free buffet on your right hand side, straight ahead you have free access to our golden spa and to your left Joy Division is playing a show. Enjoy!"

Totally I'm falling for Tilda more and more recently... She's not quite the type of girl I'm usually rooting for but somehow she has this very subtle edge to her. It's not that noticeable at first sight (like, Valerija's edgy look for instance) but it's certainly there. Her eyes are especially fascinating IMO.
