tilda actually went to Leno either right before this event or preceding. anyway,she appeared on his show and she wore that same outfit and indeed looked absolutely splendid. it was also her first appearance on leno's show....and i got to say everybody in the audience was highly receptive of her....she got a huge round of applause when jay showed a highlight montage of some of her work. it was just so wonderful to hear that because her work obviously speaks for her.

i didn't get to see she arriving as i was in the middle of aussie open coverage but that looks splendid. i love that lilacy colour and her sort of fly-away hair is so much more playful than the slicked back style she'd been donning awards seasons past.

disappointed she didn't take the trophy here but GG hardly defines who will win in the upcoming events. as meryl said,so many performances this year were great,i wouldn't be surprised if we see different winners at each awards. although personally,and no bias,i don't think anybody holds a candle to the riveting nature of tilda's performance.

Tilda looks flawless... Love the color of the outfit, the dress and jacket, the hair, makeup, just everything! Shame she didn't win... I can only imagine that she would've given a great speech. But let's hope she get's a chance to be recognized at some of the seasons other events.
