Tilda Swinton | Page 22 | the Fashion Spot

Tilda Swinton

To me she seems so otherwordly and etheral...She really is unquestionably amazing

she looks lovely at caesars... i was sursprised, her gown is christian lacroix haute couture

^^Oh? Well that's interesting, but really its not such an unusual choice for her, (since that's what she's about in a sense) and she's certainly the only 'celeb' who could pull it off even if its not flattering...does that make sense?

there's a picture of tilda from a few years ago i posted on the first page,i believe,of her at cannes wearing a similar abstract water-colour-y gown by dior so it's not unfamilar territory. and last year at the bafta's she wore that gloriously rich but unorthodox lacroix.

Candids of her after the party with better view of what she was wearing, i love this outfit on her.

Tilda Swinton is seen here leaving The Double Club in Islington at around 2.30am after attending a launch party. Tilda was at the party to help launch a new magazine called AnOther Magazine.

love how they say to help launch a new magazine...i would hardly call another 'new'. it's just the launch of the new issue.

Ha, seriously the paparazzi agencies caption's are a riot, ever so acurate.^_^

the outfit is stunning. :woot: especially with her hair and pale skin...what a dream she is..

i love her cocoon meets cape jacket. i wonder who designed it?

i love the way she often wears pieces that don't fit the way we are used to seeing things fit, especially on celebrities. all those body conscious clothes that hug you in all the obvious places, boobs and butts and hips etc. and with tilda you get these extraordinary shapes and silhouettes because she doesn't feel the need to always follow the lines of her body. it makes me think she is secure enough in her beauty to not feel as though she needs to flaunt her body through her clothing. the above outfit is a good example.. i love how it seems to hang beyond her body, and it is somehow still very sexy.

I love her style for the most part. I always like to see what she'll wear for an award show or event... breath of fresh air from the usual run of the mill Hollywood look that these actresses sport!

Today PRODn received the Spring/Summer 2009 issue of David James‘ Another Magazine, and we haven’t been able to stop talking about it all day! The issue features Tilda Swinton, a unique taste-maker, modeling looks by some of the best young designers. We have always been a HUGE fan of Tilda, so we were thrilled to see her in the spotlight! Not only is she an incredible actress but her sense of style reveals a dedication to high fashion unlike any other in Hollywood.
Shot in New York by the talented Craig McDean, this editorial marks the fourth collaboration between the two Brits; they previously worked together for Vogue Italia in 2003, i-D Magazine in 2003 and for Another Magazine in 2005. The images reflect a perfect combination of dimension, texture and form, as seen through the discerning eye of Mr. McDean.
We also took note of the spot-on sculpturesque hair and impeccable make up created by none other than Orlando Pita and Diane Kendal.

I look some screen caps from my online copy of AnOther Mag
