I'm liking the new D bag. My friends think they're old and boring  Tell me what you think:

I quite like the shape...it's a simple, classic bag. My only gripe is that the smaller size is too small and the larger is too big...

I'm torn between getting the red/orange or the white one. The red/orange has such ooomph! and the fact that it's featured in most fashion mags makes it really HOT. But i'm worried it's tougher to pull together with my clothes. The white, I can get more mileage from, but surely, this style in white will be copied by the fakes soon! :sigh:

tods bags don't really do anything for me... the leathers are nice and they're well made but the styles don't really excite me much... never really have. my mother collects tods bags, though and has the one posted in the first post, but the bigger size and in tan suede. but i must say i do like tods shoes.

Their bags go on sale every season. I really hate to see a $1,000+ bags becoming $500+.

There's only been one Tod's bag that I've ever seen that I've liked.. and it was in the sample room of one of my internships. :( Sad.

I kinda like the tan color Miky Zip Media ($1250 on eluxury) but the slanting zippers on the front might make it look 'dated' after a while.

I like Tods alot! Mostly the mocs though, but the bags are devine... tres expensive though...and for that amount I would rather buy a Gucci or Louis

i like tods, but im the only person i know who does. I have a green one.

Im not really a Tods Person, but like brian the shoes are nice, I do like the green bag though the colour is very nice.

I generally don't get too excited by Tods, but something about this one caught my eye.

The design is clean, elegant and classical. It's a nice colour too.
I think this will make a great bag for most occassions.
Plus the python skin makes it unique.

You definitely can't go wrong with this design, I feel it kinda grows on you.
Not the immediate "Bam, look at me, IT-bag" kind of appeal.

However I feel the price may be a little steep but worth(of the bag) is really in the eyes of the beholder :flower:

I am totally a Tods person. The new D bag though I would have to agree, is either too big or too small, would go for the big to keep some sort of youthfullness. True, Tods is not your typical WOW, but I love the bags and shoes because they are for the most part understated and not too showy. Though I absolutely love Louis, Gucci etc., Tods doesn't feel the need to scream its name (except of course when they jumped on that horrible logo band wagon). The Tods name is associated with timelessness and not necessarily trend. Tends to be more on the "if you know, you know" side which is nice. Definitely gears more towards the older, more classic look though.

Absolutely pricey, but again because they tend to be not so trendy they usually have a substantial shelf life .:woot: I think more suitable for 30+. Overall, different strokes for different folks.

Tod's are actually one of my favorites. It's the subtlty and somewhat simplistic designs that attract my eye.

I liked the candy bags, otherwise I find them boring..

Celeb sightings with my new D bag!!! I'm so thrilled :D
