I like the cloque silk and the knits, suedes, and leathers are always a pleasure but can they figure out the bag situation. I haven't been convinced by a single bag ever since the beginning of this brand.
That ice blue cape would be gorgeous with the gown after it. Then the strapless bow top - another must. The belted polka dot skirt another must. Id prob wear that with one of his plastron blouses Id already have. The pink gown is gorgeous. The two tone camisole.
I dont like the cut of the velvet tuxedo pant. Or the break. The blue suede and tan suede outfits Im not sure about. The off the shoulder gown is terrible.
The suiting and skirt/separates are divine BUT he still needs to work on his use of colours and dress making and flou/drapery. I like green but not that shade of green. A citrine or muted green toned fools gold would have been more sumptuous. Same goes for the blue - why the shade of Klein blue? It’s so overused by him already.
I just don’t believe in it. I don’t want to speak for anyone here but the overall vibe I get from this whole thing is major astroturfitization. Maybe Haider was my personal friend I would feel different and more “yay”, but otherwise it’s just whatever whatever popular because someone says it’s supposed to be popular. It is not offensive like most everything else these days though. The pink gown with the slash on the bust is striking. Maybe I’m just being a negative Nancy. It doesn’t feel major.
I love it for what it is. These are lovely pieces to wear, although I am not sure about the longevity of them in a wardrobe. Maybe that really doesn't matter.
