I liked this. It was a very soft, very cool collection. Something tommy hasn't done in a while, i quite enjoyed this.

Very good outwear, a staple for Hilfiger, and some excellent tights. I found some of the suiting a little repetitive, but some of the flowy dresses were nice. Not a fan of what looked to be high-heeled rubber boots.

tommy hilfiger has finally stumbled back upon that rich american heritage that launched his label in the first place. sure, the cuts of these clothes won't stun the fashion flock, but there's a sense of rich american luxury that comes through these clothes much more clearly than we normally see from this brand even on its best day.

i really loved this show it's not my favourite of his (because lately they've been so good) but in the details it looks great

Although some of the elements in this collection reminded me of (wait for it) Prada F/W 10, particularly the loafers and the use of leather in coats and skirts I found this very pleasing to look at. Like Versace, Hilfiger seems to have reevaluated the aesthetic of their brand and created something a little more high-end/haute without losing the label's thoroughly American routes.

NY has been a bore thus far but I really enjoyed this. Did they do a seperate show for menswear this time though?

they did do a separate menswear show, but while we're on reference points. those dresses also clearly take cues from the celine prints we saw in spring.
