they run pretty true to size.. i have a bunch of them and they feel snug at first but then they will stretch out and be perfect!

so i chickened out and just went to a local store to buy my Toms. they didn't have the stonewashed in yet, so i got the black and olive. true to size (thanks love!) and the most comfy shoe ever! love them.

Bought a pair today, and they are really the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on. I really recomend them as the perfect summer shoe, they look perfect with shorts or rolled-up pants on guys. I thought I'll go with loafers this time, but the TOMS are so much better.

I just recently saw some Toms shoes for little kids at my local mall. They had some cute pink ones for little girls.

i cant wait for The Row ones to come out! I have a friend who works at corporate so I will let you all know when they are comin!

Toms shoes look amazing (plus I love the concept behind the brand) I've yet to buy a pair but I've been contemplating on it for ages. My only question is, are the comfortable? I have terrible feet problems and I'm looking for a shoe which will be comfortable to walk in yet look good too (and very few shoes fit into both categories as I have found out).

I think that they are definitely comfortable. Even if they feel a little bit snug at first, they will definitely stretch out. Nowadays, I go straight for the Toms shoe instead of a more stylish flat because I just prefer the comfort. I'd say go for 'em.

everyone seems to be wearing these right now...
guys, girls...it doesn's seem to matter...
they are just everywhere...

i saw a lady wearing a very cool and edgy black look with some lurex sparkly tom's...
and the two tone stripes are also a big trend at the moment with the girls...

I might have the most boring ones: the dark blue ones (marine colour) but I loooove them soooo much! I could spend 24 h wearing them for at least 300 days a year until winter comes along ;)

Just found out the owner of tom's holds some very extreme views.

and it isnt a non profit company. its a for-profit. :innocent:humanitarian aid is a excellent marketing tool it seems.

i tried the standard toms shoes on once, they were breathable but had terrible arch support. it just seemed silly to pay 45$ for something made in china that probably cost 2$ to make. even if they are giving away a 2$ product to someone else that may need it.

I don't see anything wrong with the owner making a profit. Why not incorporate aid into his sales platform? There are "knockoffs" available at skechers for more money and as far as I know they aren't making any charitable donations. ( but I could be wrong) . The point is though, if I want to wear something trendy, it may as well be helping someone else out. And it's not like they are expensive.
And they are comfortable, but I have pronated feet so the arch support really helps me. I absolutely cannot wear flats.
I always have this problem of what to wear traveling because you want to look nice but want something confortable. I usually end up sacrificing looks for comfort and wear my Arizona birks.
Anyways, enough of me talking. Just my 2 cents!

these have grown on me more and more....
with the loafer trend and the espadrille trend and the boat shoe trend...
this just seems like the perfect balance of all of those ...

it seems like a very versatile shoe...

even straight guys can wear them without coming across as very effete...
:p

i like them best in preppy/nautical colours-
navy, red and pale yellow...

does anyone know an online-shop for europe/germany?

So I have the navy ones and these ones and I love these Tom's sooo much!
