I think DJ AM has already been through so much in his life, and already felt very lucky to be alive.

I allways have felt huge sympathy for Adam.
Just fe weeks ago I did read article about his life...I just can´t remember where I did fund it. And he has gone so much. He really deserve happiness in his life.
Hope everything goes well.

When it goes Trvais, I watched his reality show when it came, he seemed sweet guy who loved his kids. Hope he gets well soon too!

what a tragicthing to happen.
 
Oh god, I'm just horrified that Chris was about to become a dad and now his child will never see his father!

I thought it couldn't get any worse!

I think that is a given though, no?
Anytime, anyone gets sick or dies or is in a tragedy, it brings people closer.
But, I was irate because the irresponsible comments made about their personal lives.:flower:
 
Some good news via TMZ

A doctor has announced that Travis Barker and DJ AM are expected to have a full recovery after yesterday's horrific plane crash.

Barker and Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein were severely burned yesterday when their Learjet crashed before takeoff from a Columbia, South Carolina airport. The crash killed four people, including Barker's assistant Chris Baker.

Dr. Fred Mullins, medical director of the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, said both Travis and Adam suffered second and third-degree burns. Mullins said Barker's torso and Adam's hands and part of his head were burned.

I hope they both fully recover. That Glamour article about Adam is amazing... and yeah, it's rather patronizing saying "hopefully they'll get their priorities straight".

I've always liked both of them. They seem so nice. And Adam had a really tough life...

omigod that was a really good article. thanks for sharing it. I had no idea about any of that except the gastric bypass part. And notice NR wasn't mentioned once in the article? Geez, this whole situation is soooo tragic and sad. I hope they recover fully. They both deserve it so much. And I wish the families of the deceased peace in their grieving.

Dont worry that was false. She isnt even pregnant.

Im glad to hear optimistic news! They are at the best burn center in the country. I will be rooting for them both.

there are some truly sad pictures of shana at the hospital crying outside on alot of blogs:( i feel so bad for her.


Shanna Moakler has released the following statement regarding Travis Barker's weekend jet crash:
"There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this very difficult time. We can only ask for prayers as we heal and mourn the loss of our dear friends who we considered part of our family. Our lives will be changed forever."
Moakler, who is now back together with Barker after a 2004 divorce (they have two kids together), is with the rocker as he recovers from second and third degree burns at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia. He is expected to make a full recovery.
He has been receiving an outpouring of support from his celebrity friends.
DJ Steve Aoki and Jermaine Dupri paid him a visit over the weekend.
"It's a seriously sad situation," Dupri told Usmagazine.com. "He's doing good... but I really hate to see my friends go through this."
On Monday, a coroner determined that smoke and fire killed the pilot and co-pilot while impact-related injuries killed two other passengers.
While a cause for the crash has yet to officially be determined, a blown tire during takeoff may be to blame.
In a statement, Goodyear, the tire's manufacturer, said: "We have been contacted by the [National Transportation Safety Board] and will cooperate fully with its investigation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of this accident."

I just watched a nice memorial vid of him on TMZ
 
I hope Travis and Adam are both able to recover. This is so tragic!
