Twee Pop

Anybody like twee pop? Or at least know what it is? I love it, but nobody I know has even heard of it.

If you want to check it out I love the bands All Girl Summer Fun Band, Camera Obscura, The Boy Least Likely To, Dressy Bessy, Tiger Trap, Tullycraft... I think most of them are available on iTunes.

I'm sure most people here have heard of these bands- the term may be familiar to very few ones though, i personally find genres to be so useless and confusing...and contradicting. .

Hey, you can't talk about twee pop without mentioning belle & sebastian!

i've heard the divine comedy referred to as twee pop, too. and baroque pop. not sure it's either. i'd also consider maybe... of montreal, magnetic fields, my latest novel and sam & me to be.
