Are tweed coats a great investment?

Tweed coats (for winter), too trendy or classic? (the ones that hit between the hips and knees, with a fitted classic cut)

I like them and they are a classic but I would hold of for the moment, just because they are so widespread.

i have one its a classic cut. i see it more as an investment buy because i can see me wearing it for years aslong as it doesnt fall apart! and apart from the fact it is so comfy and warm.

I voted "no, it's just unpretty". I've never found tweed attractive, and I loathe it even moreso now that I can't leave the house without being bombarded by it.

I voted for the third one, I think they looked cool but now..they're back to what they always were: boring and overused clothes.
