Thank you everyone for all the great pictures! I'd say about half of them I'd never seen before.
I am able to do lashes somewhat like Twiggy's but they're more Penelope Tree's because doing it like Twiggy is almost impossible. Twiggy's were so small and perfect. I have trouble in some spots because I have lines under my eyes (I'm only 21 haha) and it messes them up. I don't know how Twiggy did it. And all the false eyelashes all the girls did back then? That's another art I've yet to master. To me it seems like Edie's look is a lot harder to do, I have only once been able to do the line by the crease of the eye kind of by the brow bone that so many of the girls did back then. How did they do that? Theirs always looks more faint and right than mine. As for the white eyeliner on the inside of the lower lashline that haute femme mentioned, I can never do that, it always rubs off.
This one?
Source: Helmut Newton? Does anyone know what magazine it appeared in?
I'm suprised it wasn't already in this thread (that I saw), but then again I'm not. She took so many pictures, I love it.

I attempted to do my eyes like her's today and even using step-by-step instructions; failed miserably. That liquid liner went on like nobody's business...
I ended up looking more like a drunken clown than the great Twigster.
le sigh. I suppose I'll have to stick to the Edie look, which is basically loading it on.

I saw this great picture of Twiggy in a photography book. Helmut Newton shot her jumping with her arms out in a room.
