Before her album was released many were predicting it would be a smash, the future of pop, a Grammys shoo-in, etc.

I remember gay stan twitter saying she was gonna save pop music and she was the reason Gaga had to delay the release of Chromatica instead of the pandemic. And we all know how this story ends. Lol.

I like it (highlighted text, included), purely for the fact the art direction takes me back to the good old days of British Elle circa 2008, when the magazine's choice in fonts and layout was head of the curve. The loudness of this cover reminds me of those times - and I won't complain.
