Yes, the yellow does make it look more like a cover, but I'm also amazed by how I can still read the coverlines despite all the details on her look! Quite an impressive feat, art director of UK Elle.

These are just too unpalatable to be reprinted so widely... and have we not moved on from the whole Lemonade era? Kind of getting tired. Solange does this stuff better. Here I am comparing two women and sisters but it sort of feels inauthentic mainly because the lifestyle she leads doesn't really translate into this image that she is trying to sell

So basically the only content they've commissioned themselves were the accessories edit?
Demarchelier edit, though styled by Jenny (ex UK Marie Claire), appeared in Elle Netherlands December, Rahel Weiss is a French Elle reprint, Andreas Sjodin is a Swedish Elle reprint, and the cover is a global deal cooked up by US Elle.

Just as well, you would have been lumped with loaned content!

Looking at the Beyonce cover makes me think Rihanna is a genius, and this is coming from someone who can't abide either. That entire edit is like a poor man's attempt at trying to replicate Rihanna's cool.
