I find it odd there's two seperate newstand covers - neither of which are the one that is inside the magazine where it shows you the newstand cover!

I'm intrigued now, I haven't seen this issue yet, so I wonder which one I'll find! I'm not a tremendous fan of the cover shot itself, but the idea that it comes in two forms, that's a good thing.

i just got the issue this morning, and after a quick flick through it looks like a great issue and i can't wait to read it i don't really have an opinion on most of their recent cover stars which i think is great because they don't just choose predictable people, but real women! i rarely see people like courtney love and kate winslet on other magazine covers. elle uk rocks

That must be the reason why the preview in the subscriber copy, has no text.. to show it wasn't the finished cover.

I love the newsstand cover that honeycomb child posted, I have the other one booo. Apparently there are also 4 collectors coverd available too, designed by Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane, John Galliano and Vivienne Westood, to mark 25 years of London Fashion Week.

I only saw the ordinary newsstand cover, not the 'scribbles' one, and I went through the whole pile, and they were all the same. I enjoyed the issue nonetheless, some nice articles in there too.

I like the Stella cover - I think it's a nice shot, but was sort of hoping for something more from her. I'm trying to decide if I should get one or not..

Agreed. I'm going to get Galliano's cover, but love Westwood's. But it seems pointless, when they have the same content as the March 2009 issue..

The way I figure it is: I would get one IF the cover design was so good, I would consider framing it at some future point.

But not if I wasn't entirely sold on the cover, because then I'd be paying more for a repeat of essentially the same issue I've already got.

Every now and again, I consider buying Issue 2 of Pourquoi Pas, because I like the illustration on the front, but not so much the content. But if I have to think about it, it can't be that essential to my life, and therefore the money stays in my pocket, ready to be circulated on something else.

I have two copies of this issue anyway... my subscribers issue, and the one with the scribbles on - so I don't think I shall invest in anymore!
