I don't think I have ever seen VB on a cover of a magazine looking this casual! Not just the styling, but her hair, and make-up too! It's refreshing, and i love her face, and eyes here.

It seems this new direction at UK ELLE is doing celebs and models in more realxed mode, and it works.

I much prefer the subs cover and the editorial, in fact I like it a lot. I absolutely hate the newsstand cover however, I think she looks rather awful? What have they done to her!

I actually love the first cover, the angle on her face, the light, the clothes and her pose. The second one looks forced and fake. I´m not a fan of the editorial though.

Through force of will, Victoria has become more than the sum of her parts - the appeal of her appearance is how she makes the MOST of what she's got. So how she chooses to style herself makes a huge difference.

Seeing her in a more casual mood is refreshing, but I also think it doesn't do her any great favours, especially that cover shot. It makes her look very average.

i have such respect and admiration for Victoria and how successfully she's rebranded her images over the years, and as tigerrouge very aptly put it, how she makes the most of what she's got. She gets more covers than just about anyone! makes you think she's the kind of girl who says it's all for the promo for her brands, but come on, nobody with that much money shoots that many fashion covers unless they love getting made up (or made under) and taking photos. With the kind of brand she has, she could never do a magazine shoot again and still be very successful, so there's definitely a love of being on these magazines in there somewhere. I actually really like the covers and shoot, but it's the same thing we've seen 50 times before from VB.

Yikes, what's up with her hair? Not a good look for Victoria, I'm afraid. This type of styling doesn't work for her elfin-like beauty. The newsstand cover would've been better if she sat upright.

Im guessing the June issue has just gone to press with Lotte as acting editor.
Then there will be July and August which are smaller issues with AMC as editor but no changes and September will be the big redesign/her new vision?

AMC has hired Tom Meredith as her creative director.
