The layout is very lovely and I like the cover overall, but I prefer the US version.

This is bad and very cheap. The makeup is so drab and washed out.

I like the way the cover shot uses semi-realistic lighting on glam make-up and styling, it gives it a mild retro feel, like you're seeing a star from yesteryear on an off-duty moment.

I prefer this type of image to the highly-filtered Allure style of cover, where everyone is painted in bright colours like a one-dimensional parrot because life's just so fun!!

It looks very quarantine. Photographers and stylist should avoid this type of photography. People wants to forget 2020.

Much prefer this as opposed to the American alternative, upon first glance. The colouring is lovely for October, perfect just as the cooler autumn weather is starting to roll in and I like the belted Celine coat on Adele here. I'm also liking Tom Usher's new clean layout for British Elle!

Elle Canada also done this particular shot justice and warmed the photograph up, which enhances the shot somewhat:

Looks much better on Elle Canada abut the makeup is still too much it looks too harsh.
