Put a "SPONSORED BY _____" text on there and this would look like a supplement cover. Terrible.

Boring. The styling is terrible. Forgettable and 0 impact. The only thing that catches my attention is the background. That's just about it.

And why 150? I think HB UK began 1929, merged with Queen Magazine, and back to HB UK in 2006. 88 years?

I hate when they put any editorial shot as a cover. It's so clueless to think anything can work as cover.

^ Exactly, Picardie is so clueless. Listen, I do appreciate her supporting models for the covers, LOVE IT! But she needs better execution, the issues are also terribly boring, for me far worse than Shulman's Vogue, it's just a snoozefest! Irrelevent snoozefest!!

Also wtf is up with releasing sub covers first now? Who came up with that brilliant PR idea, smh!

Whoever thought this shot would work as a cover image must have been high..

Ergh, the British monthlies make me so sad lately. There was a time when British Harper's and Elle were just nailing it repeatedly, everything has just gone so off the boil, across the board.

It would be great if Malaika got the solo newsstands cover!

So August is officially their model month? For both 2016 and 2015 we've had model covers.

As much as I love Picardie's Harper's, I suppose must agree with everyone that this is not a cover-worthy image. Looks more like the beginning of an editorial. Such a shame, because Malaika would have made a stunning cover. Who is the other girl?
I can somewhat understand that Justine may be a fan of unconventional, full body shot covers, but then she should at least get Leith and Erik to give her better options then.

Still, looking forward to the newsstand cover though as I'm sure it will be

I find it just as annoying. In theory they're celebrating the American edition's 150th anniversary. Why?????? It's such a ridiculous a marketing gimmick. Picardie's hand may have been forced to do this, don't think she'd do it out of her own free will, I'm sure!

There's a total of six covers for the issue and all five girls appear on the regular newsstand cover.

So this is Lara Mullen's 2nd British cover, nice!

The newsstand cover is the most garish thing I've seen for some time. Maybe if you really like yellow...

^ I second that, what on earth!! Just beyond ugly, eye catching that is not, more like an assualt on your eyes!

Ugh, I was hoping nobody would mention it! I think it will certainly be their worst selling issue for 2017.

And just to top it all off, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will most likely get September! Ugh.

a complete mess. What's with all the different covers? British Harpers has become so bland. The only thing i like is the choice of models.

erik madigan heck is one of my favorite 'new' photographers but this leaves me cold. looking forward to the editorial though

6 (bad) covers in total..... what a joke !

Yeah, I'm resolved to get the V&A cover instead. Even a multipack offer won't lure me this time!
