UK Harper's Bazaar October 2016 : Mariacarla Boscono by Nico Bustos

I don't like that it's off center. It looks the the opening page of the beauty section more than an actual cover.

Unusual for Bazaar and an unexpected choice, I like it. October issues are always so much better than the September ones.

Not bad, love the colours and snuggly fur, but I think Mariacarla's cut doesn't suit her face type. And maybe a softened and smoother hairstyle would've been better?

I like this. It's very soft. However the hair... It goes against the entire mood of the cover. It's too heavy for me

The hair isn't working however I'm so excited to see Mariacarla getting this cover! Anxious to see the full ed, I think it will be gorgeous.

I wouldn't say "the beauty issue" goes hand in hand with MariaCarla.

So they actually gave her a feature as well? Interesting, if not a bit random. I'm guessing the motivation must've been Chanel or Givenchy.
I'm looking forward to hear what she's got to day, she's not exactly someone who gives a lot of interviews.

Thanks for posting the editorial, KissMiss! :cool2:

My pleasure:wink:
I find the choice very odd. I don't think she is very well known to have a solo cover for the British Bazaar... Anyway, I'd rather have MariaCarla every month than K&K ;-)

There are two more covers: one with the 4th photo (international market) and one with the second close-up (subscribers).

The image is not right for the cover, but maybe this is just sub version?!? Either way i won't complain since this is such a welcome refreshing choice, and her ed looks wonderful, looking forward to read her article.

Lilac... again...

Hater! :pink: There's more in the above edit if you think it's not enough.

Jokes aside, I think these consistencies says more about our women, than the people who continually turn it out. It's been proven that softer and inoffensive hair colours are best sellers on the newsstand. Don't know how Mariacarla's raven hair will perform, but everything else seems in place.

Mine just arrived in the mail and I'm pleasantly surprised that I don't loathe it. Seven covers in total for this particular issue. The lilac cover and the one with the white background are both newsstand while the close-up of Mariacarla is for subscribers (which I received today). There's a one featuring a painting available at Lapada Art & Antiques Fair, another with some dresses for Buckingham Palace, the Queen's Gallery Shop, a cover with John Lennon and Yoko Ono for Harrods, Selfridges and Waitrose and they've reprinted the cover of Karl Lagerfeld and Choupette too.

Review - 346 Pages.

Really nice covers. I don't identify the first one with Harper's Bazaar UK but it's a good change. It's more Harper's Bazaar Spain which I like much.

The look on Mariacarla's face on the subscriber's cover! If looks could kill...!! Love it.
