Wow, I kinda love it. The text looks like it was done in Paint, but Brit looks good. Very different look for her.

Actually, looking at it some more, the jacket is too diminating. They should've zoomed in more on her face and cropped some more of the jacket.

I don't get why we don't see Britney more on covers. I never did... She looks great.

Looking more at it, the layout seems weird...

That layout reminds me of those days when you use a font from your computer for a school report and when you put it in someone else's computer, the fonts miraculously change - and terribly at it.

Yikes, such a good shot ruined by that hideous layout! At least now they look on par with Elle. It looks like a cheap digital magazine.

Of all the pop tarts, Britney never quite got a proper fashion treatment from magazines. It should be interesting to see what the rest of her edit looks like in terms of styling.

I don't like this particular cover, but I'm glad they did a redesign - hoping we'll see some interesting covers by them in the future. The previous ones were outdated, cheap and crowded.

Yes, something needed to happen with UK MC, but I hope it doesn't go the way of Elle, into a downward spiral of change, where everything gets worse with each iteration.

Every year that goes by, it's like watching magazines get memory loss about what makes a good print publication.

She doesn't do interviews unless they are small soundbites. She may not be well enough to. She's still under conservatorship and is not allowed to make any legal decisions herself.

Oh wow, I imagine this is like power of attorney?? But she's a grown woman!

^maybe it has something to do with her being bipolar, I remember reading something about it but I'm not sure.

Similar, but conservatorship gives the conservator more control than a power of attorney would. Her dad got it over her back in 2007-8? when she was going through all that personal turmoil. If I remember correctly it was due to her mental health and substance abuse.

Indeed, the interviews she's allowed to do are very limited. I'm surprised it's British Marie Claire that they went for however. I can't imagine there is an interview to accompany, probably just a write up about her new album and Vegas show.

It's an odd design. I can't say I despise it, but I'm not thrilled with it. It looks very try hard modern, a sort of almost Pop / Arena Homme+ vibe to how they've attempted to do the text.

I would have use her body for cover to do more fall fashion styling instead of passport pic size as she has great body now and I like her its a great cover she should be more on covers

Reading a short news snippet about the redesign, it's been done to "reaffirm its appeal with millennially-minded women". Ah, that elusive market sector they're always chasing with these face-lifts. It's like a landscape of shifting sands with these fashion titles. No wonder UK Bazaar is on the rise with its sales, it's probably one of the few magazines that has a secure sense of its readership, and how to speak to them.

What have they done to her face on the cover!? She looks nothing like herself  I'm so sick and tired of this photoshop craze, just let a woman look like herself on a cover. There is nothing wrong with that, especially when you look like Britney Spears.

Still great to see her though. I'll always have a soft spot for her.
