Hm, I'm inquisitive to see how Marie Claire handled a separate collections magazine.

Me too. I hope they havent just looked through lots of old ELLE collections.

Runway is a weird name. Nobody in the UK call it a runway. Do they?
Or is it a joke because of the Devil wears Prada?

looks good though i would have loved to see more diversity on the covers, not to sound monotonous but i dont see 1 tiny pic of a black model

If you look there is a black girl there in red, and there's also an Asian model rather prominently there actually.

Got the issue today and have to say it's better than I was expecting! There's some nice little touches.

Its a shame they have copied Elle Collections so much.
Will be interesting to see what Elle do next time...

The two magazines were placed side-by-side in my store this morning, and it didn't immediately register in my mind that one was the Marie Claire offering.

Tried scouting for this on Wednesday, must have missed out, I didn't realise it was out today. From a video preview on Marie Claire's site, I'm even more anxious to see what they've served for a collections magazine.

Now I await Harper's Bazaar to publish something comparable - which I know would be a sensation.

Whenever I went back to buy one, they were gone from the shelf, so maybe they're not supposed to be on sale until tomorrow... this same place put their UK Elles out yesterday, when every other store had them today. But premature display of magazines is not something I'll complain about...

It's quite widely stocked here in London. I noticed even supermarkets that didn't stock Elle Collections had it. The content really is lifted almost directly from Elle however, there's even a section about shows/collections by numbers.

I picked up my issue today too, i am really pleasantly surprised at how fantastic the content is and I'm really enjoying the art direction of the issue, particularly on the themed trend pages, for me its definitely giving Elle Collections a run for its money!
