Oh no! That Vuitton collection again...

The fashion issue! Our cover star will wear lots of Vuitton so we can keep booking their ads for the next season!
Before Lorainne, Elle was awful. Before Lucy, Harpers wasn't great.
This magazine COULD be saved...

Marie Claire always had more of a social conscience than other magazines - yet it's floundering at a time when every fashion publication is trying to sell the agenda of being 'aware'.

At this very moment, Marie Claire should be in its element, yet there's not even a reminder of the many types of reportage it's brought to readers over the decades, never mind a focus on new content.

It's like the magazine has forgotten how to be itself.

They did a 'green' issue years ago which I'm sure came wrapped in a brown paper bag.

I love her in motion but on print, she could use some modeling coaching imo...

C,mon, can't they do better than that?!

While I do like the cover because of the styling and colour scheme, none of the editorial pics appeal to me. Can't get behind her new hairstyle, and her expression looks dead to me. Also, LV overload.

Spoken like a seasoned magazine reader! So true about Marie Claire. I'm actually surprised they're lagging behind like this.
Although when it comes to advertising, they're brazenly ruthless. This is the type of magazine who would think nothing to sell their covers to tacky brands like Tresemmé.

Loving the art direction here, very modern and retro (think Marie Claire of the 80s) at the same time
