I actually like this. It reminds me of the 90s. It feels so natural, and it's actually refreshing and relaxing. However, I wish they placed the logo behind her.
I like that it's a summer cover for August, they rarely do that. Nice to see Alicia again, but crikey, the one side of her shoulder is longer than the other? As a result the space looks disproportionate.
This is a lovely surprise considering the speculations that it's probably Kim on the cover. I like it, very fresh and summery, even though Alicia doesn't convey much emotion in print.
What a bad cover, wow! Her face expression is not cover worthy, there had to be better images than this, but then i really think Vikander always lacks that spark she has on the big screen in magazines, she just doesn't work in print, for me.
Great to see Alicia ! It's a nice summer cover, even though her expression is a bit off.
I imagine the main ed will be her wearing LV... not looking forward to that !
She's akin to Emilia Clarke for me; captivating and absolutely beautiful. But it doesn't quite come through in the photographs well. I like that it's full on summer mode for the August issue, I'm going to give them that. But otherwise I think it's a rather lacklustre image. At least she's new, she's not Kim Kardashian and she's not in an angora roll neck sweater. Silver linings!
I thought she was wearing a dress splattered in wet sand until I clicked on the larger image, and man what a letdown it was to see this bigger. Terrible dress, vapid expression, terribly awkward pose. Bah.
Nice blue sky, but that shot is so lifeless. I can see what they're going for - natural beauty, an easy life, nothing fussy for summer - but that makes this image seem more like an advert for holistic women's health via vegetable juicing, rather than a new-season issue full of fashion advice and excitement. It's as if UK Vogue have forgotten they're a real fashion magazine. Sometimes I think they're on perpetual holiday.
