UK Vogue July 2007 : Yasmin Le Bon, Cecilia Chancellor, etc...

This issue was plain boring!
it even had pixie geldof in it trying to be a model!
the only exciting part was stams dior ads :)

Cover: Yasmin le Bon, Cecilia Chancellor, Lizzy Jagger, Erin O'Connor, Jacquetta Wheeler, Marie Helvin, Lily Cole ph: Patrick Demarchelier

here essentially lily showcases a look ie. bold colour and the older people are on the next page often in groups showing there own version of the look

Ed 2: Here's Looking at You: (12 pages) Jane Birkin and Lou Doillon ph: Jenny Gage and Tom Betterton
showing a take on fashion over generations. this editorial is sweet and lou and jane both look amazing.

Pixie in a sort of enchanted garden in one picture she is wearing some cute heart sunglasses

Notable Articles: An interesting article on style by the cover stars.

stam for dior, the adverts are out!? That is the most exciting thing about this Vogue by far.

Thanks harrietcamilla. Not sounds very interesting..

Please scan these ads and the editorial. This issse is particularly bleak. Horrid. Alex needs to stop sucumbing to elitst ironically unpopular culture in England. Peaches is prententious. Who exacly is she catering to by including her in the magazine. Marks and Spencers models? now surely.. this is just abomimable. Please haul in some guest editors at least because this will subject Vogue UK to ridicule. The cover is a quinessential Patrick shot however, reminds me of the US Vogue supermodel cover with Noami and the clan. Hopefully Catherine McNeil will be better in August and followed by Gemma in September.

Sorry but I'm not impressesd, it looks like some old 90s cover.
my thoughts exactly. This cover has been done so many times [and with much more interesting models]

edit: looking foward to the lou Doillon/Jane Birkin feature. I LOVE them!

The editorials don't sound very interesting either, especially since some of the amazing editorials recently with Angela, Lara and Daria.

Thanks for the review! :flower:

Sounds like the ed with Jane Birkin and Lou might be the only good thing about this issue.

^So much Karma awaits you! Thank you sweetie:)

Kate for Cavalli??? No please
are you really sure it's Kate (I see you put a question mark next to her name)?

^My thoughts entirely.
Please, anyone but Kate.

Well it looks like her from some angles but i'm not the best at iding. i dont recognise the dress from FW though. so if it is her hopefully its prefall.
ill scan tomorrow so then others can try and guess that know better! :flower:

Well I can handle Kate for Pre Fall. Just not Fall, I loved the all safari clothes.
