hideous! vogue uk need a new direction for their covers, they're always so boring and inoffensive.

I think it's bloody great. It's an unexpected face for the cover, doing an update of an iconic look. I didn't like any of Sophie's two previous covers (they were too 'soft' for me) but it's a total thumbs up for this one. I'm sure it seems like a travesty to some, but I love it!

Yes, travesty. There is supposed to be a I don't give a damn look about her - when she's doing Debbie I mean - and it's just lacking. She looks like a lobotomized but surgically enhanced Courtney Love - the way Courtney would like to look.

It's not bad, though. At least it stands out.
