Ulla Johnson stays true to who she is as a designer. Every season she offers bohemian-inspired looks, but with a cool attitude. For spring, Johnson referenced patchwork Americana woven with Victorian elements and a touch of Navajo for an outcome that was a maximalist celebration of texture, color and print — all done with a soft and feminine hand. Key styles included prairie-lace dresses and tops, a denim pinafore, delicate floral-print dresses, a hand-loomed ikat tunic with a macramé hem and a Navajo-striped pullover, which Johnson complemented with shoes featuring tassel and macramé elements.
