Undercover S/S 2022 Paris

it's a shame we'll probably never see closeups of that makeup cause it looks so pretty.

The back of the white jacket reminds me of that Rochas collection by Theyskens (Fall 2003?).. in general, the entire collection has that feel-good type of elegance that I love, though I'm not sure I'm attracted to anything in particular. Just love the mood, and the palette (that citric yellow..).

I’m hoping to see a video soon. I always enjoy his work.

Jun in womenswear is very hit and miss to me. This one I think is more miss, very conservative and cheesy at times, the saving grace is really the choice of materials which makes it feel more unique.

I do have to recognize that it takes balls to go against the general trend in fashion with something like these, the 50s are definitely not in, nor are full skirts or lace...In a way it's the kind of fashion that I would hope to see from Rochas, Ricci or Marni and that's also unexpected, conventional femininity is not exactly what characterizes Undercover but he clearly doesn't want to be put into a little box.

I love this, all of it. It's so fun yet elegant. I adore Jun's menswear.

This is quite beautiful. I appreciate that he’s a designer who sticks to the vision of fashion he believes in instead of chasing worthless notions of trendiness and relevance. And there’s something about the sweet and sour propositions he makes that immensely appeals to me, in the way he undercuts sugar and sentimentality with the right amount of shadow. It’s like a Shirley Jackson short story come to life. Always underrated.
