I am at a stage where I'm still looking for moisturisers and things which suit my skin, so I'm looking around a lot and trying new stuff.

Though, after a few weeks, if I find out a certain product isn't for me, I don't like to use it (I have slight acne, so it can cause chaos!)

This means I end up with half used bottles of cream and such and I was just wondering what you guys do if you're in the same situation.

I always feel bad, if I've spent £20 on a bottle and don't use half of it... so does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do?

Thanks :flower:

www.makeupalley.com is a makeup forum where your rate products of all kinds. By joining this community you are able to participate in the "swap" program which is where you trade products that are new or slightly used for other products that other members want to swap. Check it out...
I have never done it, but it sounds like a great idea to me...

Or is it possible to get free samples from the counters first?
Then if it doesn't work out, you won't really have much product left to worry about....

Yeah, but samples are a bit too small for me to really see if they suit my skin or not... :flower:

Oh, that forum sounds great - I'll definately check it out :woot:

Perhaps you could donate them to a battered women's shelter (they’re always needing products)? I don't know if they take used products but it might be worth a try :flower:

When shopping and lunching, someone left their shopping bag under my table and never came back for it. It had $90 of Lancome products and moisterizers in it. I won't be using it. I'll have to figure out what to do with it.

i'll buy them from you!!! lol :D

^ I'll take any little bit of $$ for em. I have Lancome Aqua Fusion 1.7 oz, and Estee Lauder Daily Protection Essentials. The reciept totalyed $90. All unused.

I was going to attempt to put them on that makeup swap page to try to trade for Chanel nail polish or something.

Mmm..., don't be tempted to buy branded lotion/cream. If you always trying many creams, you should know which ingredients suit your skin. Lets say your skin is sensitive, so you have to try from pharmacist line, or Dr houschka lotion, if you safe in organic line. I know it's difficult to find the best for our body, but never too late to notice and analyse what kind of cream is good.
