Urban Wild, Wild West

I think it looks good. For men. I used to wear my clothes like the helmut lang pic Softie. I like.

All I can think is... HICK. I live in Minnesota but if this goes over, my guy friends at school will considered, well, trendy. They wear flannels, washed-out jeans, camoflague, the whole thing. When you look into their trucks, yes trucks, when all of them are piled in, all I see is a sea of flannel, grey, camo, and demin. Save me.

yeah trying to pull off western chic in texas is tricky . . .

Hmm, I don't think the first picture posted illustrates this trend. Rather the "sexy secretary" look...
I agree...except for the bottom right hand corner one...

 Wasn't it posted "Staples: Scarves (around neck or head)." Plus look at the print on the scarf.

Western look as fashion is never gonna work in the USA, really, coz too many people wear it day in day out.

I'm in London, and I think the Western look will be a big fashion thing over here, coz no one would normally dress like that.

I'm not surprised.

Thanks for sharing, skyhigh. :flower:

Some of the photos took the trend to literally. It's more right-off Texas, than, right-off the runway. Some looks, though, pretty intresting. :innocent:

I love native american clothes so much to.
So do I. I love it so much. I think you have to have a certain umph! to pull it off, don'tcha think. People who wear it right look so chic. I want to be one of those people. Ralph Lauren sticks to this look. My fave was Spring 2002...

The modern cowboy has evolved - watch western and classic merge with a contemporary urban edge. You'll find influence and spirit of the west with sophisticated tapered toe shapes to the subtler squared toe versions .
