as a woman I cringe over the generic "Cowboy" or 'Western" style on women. Rodeo surely is fun but not that fun enough to wear them as a fashion statement. :innocent: I particularly remember the trend back in 99' and early 2000 when every two girls on the street of NY wore the tacky cowboy hats with fake tans, big ol' western belts embossed with turquoise, (not to mention cowboy boots are not always flattering) I am glad the trend has gone as Madonna's "tell me" video faded away from MTV screen. call me conservative, the only designer who did "Western"in a more understated way is Ralph Lauren, but even he couldn''t save those chunky turquoise belts.

just my opinion... :brows:

the Western look on men is another story. it adds more masculinity and rugged edge on men. those pics you guys posted are cool.
