What US Fashion Magazines are doing?!

Firstly, Lopez and Barrymore on Vogue's Cover, now Olsen on Harpers... no comments (Thank God, european magazines now, what is good?

For me, Olsen sisters are in the same lague with Paris Hilton. They are not doing anything important. No artists, no actresses, no singers. They are just going to the parties and think, that they are very stylish. Sorry, but they are not... stylists are doing everything! Olsen's are not doing anything, so they have to look good!

little right,here ... Ashley is ok, but I don't want her on Harper's cover:/ It sucks. She should be on lucky or teen cover .. haha ..sorry, Ashy! But honestly she looks good = Thanks to all stylist! And this interview ... oh, Ash. Stop posing for a star. You're a sweet Olsen Twin and probably you will be a part of sweet-rich duo foreva.

bazaar loves valentina...i think this is the third straight issue she's been in.

I have a question for Bazaar subscribers: Which date do you usually receive the current issue? I always receive it during the last week of a month. It's kinda late, isn't it?

The highlight of the issue is undoubtedly the preview of the Paris AW05 collections, featuring Eugenia, Romania, and Caroline Trentini. Caroline's playful expressions are the perfect foil for the regality of Eugenia and Romania.

Eugenia successfully pulled off this YSL dress that seemed to have been designed with the Green Goblin in mind:

Chloe

Paco Rabanne

Valli (this also made it to W, worn by Angelina Jolie)

Other than the unfortunate appearance of Anja Rubik (who ruined a beautiful Roland Mouret dress), this issue is just as good as last month's. I also loved Marc Jacobs's python flats with metallic roses, Sofia Coppola's belted cashmere Mod-ish dress, and Devi Kroell's FW05 shoes in the collarge.

Actually, I think she has pretty decent style.

For example, InStyle had Katie Holmes on the cover- and though she is older than Ashley Olsen, I think Ashley is a much better choice for a fashion magazine cover.

Uh, yea, cause no one over 12 would go see an Olsen movie, and not too many under it either - their one feature film - New York Minute - was both ridiculously awful and a complete bomb.

Katie Holmes has a) been the lead of a successful TV show b) done some indy, artsy fare (Pieces of April) and c) is currently starring in a blockbuster. The Olsen twins are still riding on a decade of straight-to-video movies.
