It was never going to be easy to star in a fashion edit alongside Grace Elizabeth, but Anok Yai had a lot going for her before she even stepped in front of the camera. So I'm surprised that all her shots ended up so ANTM challengey. Stiff, awkward posing with the guys as if they're sculptures. She's got a hot naked man's mouth right on her neck, but even that doesn't stop her Lot's wife expression. Maybe she's just uncomfortable around guys, because the shot of her laughing looks great.
Grace is as usual in top form. Love her energy and presence here. And the trio shot is probably more 'Grace and her gays' than love triangle, but who cares.
Passable edit overall. It has Gan written all over it. Sponsored by Estee Lauder, of course. Now we know all those seasonal couple edits Carine used to do for Harper's was really his ideas. At least I'm impressed that Varenne is a very versatile stylist. He can amp up the edge for Numéro, while meeting the girl on the street halfway for Elle
