i don't like the cover! she's a pretty girl but she looked better with long hair in her pre-umbrella times now she's trying too hard to be sophisticated! i used to like her but now she's a bit annoying

I definitely don't think she's "trying" to be sophisticated. I think she was tired of being compared to Beyonce so she chopped off her hair and kinda formed her own little boyish/feminine look. She doing her own thing and now she doesn't look like anyone else so now there would be no reason for critics and audiences to compare her with Beyonce just because they're both black and had auburn/blonde weaves...

Finally! I'm not at all a Rihanna fan, but I think she has deserved a big fashion cover for a while now. Gorgeous girl, but I don't like her expression here. I'm surprised they chose this one, as she's so photogenic usually.

I don´t like it, she´s beautiful but why did they make her so weird. The expression on her face is terrible. It looks really unprofessional to me like a us weekly cover or sth like that.

It seems like every single Elle cover girl is posed in the almost exact same way.Maybe it's just me.Since Elle seems to have gotten new talent maybe things will change a bit.

well i'm happy she got a cover. but she looks awful. she neck, her face, her dress. its all wrong. and the text is horrendous. what a waste of beauty.
